Hi I'm Adrienne Potter, retired Sports Therapist turned Hypnotherapist and I would like to welcome you to Balance and Lifestyle.

It has become apparent over the years that the older we get, the faster the time goes...I genuinely do believe this is because we are constantly working towards deadlines and become so focussed on the future that we forget to live in the here and now.

My aim is to work with others, helping to bring them back to the here and now and enjoy life before it's too late.

Because  hypnotherapy is still such an unknown therapy for many people, I feel it is important for all clients to understand how it works before embarking on their hypnosis journey.

I offer a no obligation, free 1 hour consultation to all new clients.

This is for three reasons.

  • With any therapy a good rapport is essential when building a trust based relationship.
  • Learning about you the client is an important part of the relationship building process, equally you have to feel at ease with me as your therapist.
  • Is hypnotherapy the right therapy for you? It isn't always the case and the consultation will help to establish if it is or isn't.

In October 2013, at the age of just 41,  I was diagnosed with invasive Breast Cancer.

Having had an already eventful year, the diagnosis came as a bolt from the blue, and is what led me to my early retirement from Sports Therapy.

As you can imagine, the after effects of major surgery, chemotherapy, steroids and hormone therapy left me feeling somewhat exhausted and abused.

It was at this point I was introduced to aloe vera based products. After 6 months of using the supplements and skincare range I had noticed what a positive impact the products had had on both me and my family, and subsequently chose to start promoting and retailing the products myself.

In October 2013 I was diagnosed with Invasive Breast Cancer, and it was this diagnosis that led to the slight change of professional direction.

Alongside my business I now, with a group of ladies who have all gone through similar experiences, run a local Breast Cancer Support Group here in the Wyre Forest.

Stress, anxiety, fears and phobias are all so prevalent in todays society, so having the right tools to address these issues take us a step closer to improved health and a better quality of life
