As someone forced into early menopause at the age of 43, I understand only too well the negative impact the menopause can have on life.

The menopause is still underrated, underestimated and misunderstood by many. I am no expert in the field, only in my own personal experiences.

Like many ladies out there, I was not in a position to take any form of HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) when my time came, as I had gone through oestrogen led Breast Cancer on 2013, this was in fact, the reason for my early menopause - well, the chemotherapy and subsequent Tamoxifen were actually the real offenders, but lets not split hairs when it comes to the actual culprit.

Over the years HRT has had pretty bad press, and still maintains that stigma. It is for this reason that many women are reluctant to use this option when it comes to coping with menopause symptoms.
Thankfully there are options for us and it is important to remember that what works for one, may not necessarily work for another....
* HRT
* Diet
* Hypnotherapy
* Acupuncture

As with most physical symptoms that manifest within the body, you will find that the source comes from within...remember that saying "you are what you eat'? Well it is closer to the truth than many of us care to admit - the menopause, I am afraid Ladies, really is no different, there are certain foods that can indeed aggravate the symptoms, and there are others that will support your body.
